CPR and Firearms Training
Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Primary Care (CPR) skills taught in this course:
- Scene Safety Assessment
- Universal Precautions -
- Communicable Disease Protection, including barrier use
- Primary Assessment
- Rescue Breathing
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Conscious and Unconscious
- Obstructed Airway Management
- Serious Bleeding Management
- Shock Management
- Spinal Injury Management
- Recommended Skills
o Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
o Emergency Oxygen Use Orientation. 
Advanced Shooting Courses
On Target Training has advanced shooting courses also. These classes are for the person who wants a more comprehensive instructional setting. Advanced classes include range shooting, shooting from a concealed holster, and home safety. There are pre-set classes and also classes tailored to your specific needs. On Target Training instructors are available for one on one instruction when a new gun is purchased.

Concealed Weapons Course
On Target Training conducts the training required for a Concealed Carry Permit (CWP). We also offer specialized courses you may take to improve your knowledge and skill with firearms. Our classes are very comprehensive: both in developing basic comfort with firearms and understanding the ramifications of carrying and using a firearm. All of our classes are based on the Florida Law Enforcement curriculum and are taught by a certified CJSTC Instructor. Participant Involvement is not only encouraged but required. The basic courses provide hands on learning opportunities in the following areas:
- Safe Firearm Handling
- Firearm Parts and Operation
- Ammunition and its Function
- Shooting Fundamentals
- How To Select, Clean and Store a Firearm
- Review of Various Activities Available to help Participants Develop and Improve Their Shooting Skills
